Phase 1 Reopening of Bayshore Facilities: Batting Cages & Bullpens

Dear Bayshore Families,

Thank you for your ongoing patience as the Board of Directors have navigated these unprecedented times.

Bayshore Little League will enter into Phase 1 of our re-opening process permitting limited access and use of the facilities consisting of the batting cages and bullpen access only effective, Saturday May 30th. The hours of operation for these areas is as follows;

  • Batting Cages - 9am- 9pm
  • Bullpen Areas - 9am - 7pm

All background checked and approved volunteers with access to the Master Lock Vault system, which can be downloaded by approved volunteers on the Android or IOS mobile device, for batting cage access will be required to sign a waiver that will be distributed to all background checked and approved volunteers in order to have their access restored. The Master Lock Vault system provides an electronic record when each volunteer’s code is used.

If you are not currently an approved volunteer and would like to be considered to become an approved volunteer please click the following link to begin the process to gain access by submitting a background using the following link: https://opportunities.averity.com/Application.aspx?oid=42722

Becoming an approved volunteer at Bayshore Little League is not a right, it is a privilege. By completing the confidential Federal and State background checks, getting CPR & Concussion training, and attending our PCA workshop, a volunteer meets the requirements set by the Bayshore Board of Directors.

All background checked and approved volunteers must comply with the rules and regulations for batting cage and field usage. Allowing unauthorized persons or teams to use or access the cages or fields without proper written authorization from the President and an approved and validated release of liability will result in revocation of access. Finally, as a reminder, children under the age of 18 years old are never allowed to throw batting practice.

We appreciate your support and understanding as we begin our phased approach to re-opening our facilities.

Respectfully,

The Bayshore Little League Board of Directors

Bayshore Little League, a 501(c)(3) organization (EIN #59-3339774), is a 100% volunteer organization that is solely responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities.
